Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated HSE Officer to oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental standards across all project and operational areas. The ideal candidate will lead HSE initiatives, ensuring compliance and fostering a safe and sustainable work environment.

Key Responsibilites

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE programs and objectives.
• Monitor and stay updated on relevant HSE regulations and ensure compliance.
• Create and maintain a training matrix for HSE programs.
• Conduct HSE training sessions for project vendors and corporate staff.
• Identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and manage high-risk activities at project sites.
• Supervise vendors and ensure safe operations across project and operation areas to prevent incidents.
• Organize emergency drills such as fire response and first aid simulations.
• Prepare and present monthly HSE reports to management.
• Deliver HSE inductions for new employees and vendors.
• Develop procedures and work instructions related to HSE aspects.
• Monitor hazardous waste disposal processes to ensure proper handling and compliance.
• Evaluate energy and water usage in data center facilities, proposing improvements for sustainability.
• Maintain fire safety equipment, such as extinguishers and SCBAs (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus).
• Address internal and external HSE issues and collaborate with project teams for resolution.
• Work with other departments to ensure successful HSE program implementation.
• Attend project meetings to provide HSE advice and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree, with at least 2 years of experience in data center construction or similar projects.
• Certification in K3 Construction or Electricity is required.
• Proficiency in English is a strong advantage.
• Skilled in guiding and supervising teams to follow HSE procedures effectively.
• Ability to interpret project drawings and identify safety-related considerations.
